Twelve years ago today Fred Rogers passed away at the age of 74.  As mentioned previously, Footnotes owes a great deal to Fred Rogers and the Mister Rogers Memorial Scholarship.

Our favorite memories of Mister Rogers are of his visits with Koko the Gorilla.  We love these photos of Koko removing Mister Rogers’ shoes and socks.
